Kogi state is by no doubt presently the most talk about state among states of the federation.  When people talk about you is either is for good or bad,  what can we then say about kogi state?  A state that is now on the lips of every Nigerians since the youngest governor of our time came to power.
The present image of Kogi State can not be patronize and we are losing the respect, integrity and patronage everyday and presently the state is like a glorified local government council.
Recently, Kogi state became the first state in the Guinness book of record as the first state to accept to be colonized by cattle. Yet to recover from that trauma we are back on all the news headlines again with plans to sell off all the state valuable assets. Are we still dreaming or a reality?
Life is a lesson,  the more you live the more you lean.  Let it be known to all the living and even those yet to be born that people don’t value what they did not work for. It is so clear why Bello is doing what he is doing because is like given to a child an orange not minding whether he or she needs the orange or not.  What becomes of the orange?  He will use it as a ball and later it will end up in the belly of a goat.
If Bello value Kogi State liaison office Lagos, Kogi House Abuja, Mega Terminal Park Lokoja, Kogi State liaison house Kaduna, Commissioners quarters Lokoja, State assembly quarters Lokoja, Conference beach hotel Lokoja and Confluence stadium Lokoja, he will not think of selling them off.  He met all these structures on ground and he is now desperate to sell them off before leaving office to finance 2018 budget.  If we are to sell all these structures/assets to finance 2018 budget then we may put the whole state for sell to finance 2019 budget.
The sales of our collective assets by state government to finance 2018 budget is an evil plan to finally destroy the state before leaving office, therefore, we are calling on governor to shelve such plan and look for another way to finance the budget.  We reject such move because is not healthy for us all.
You were brought in as the executive governor to keep the state and its assets safe and to acquire more assets for us for the growth and development of the state and not to sell the ones you met.  Please keep our assets safe and don’t sell them.
