It is appalling reading shameless write-ups obviously sponsored by Kogi state government to cover up their alleged complicity in Edward Soje’s bizarre suicide.
Kogi state government tortured Edward Soje when he was alive by withholding his hard-earned salaries for 10 months (January – October 2017). Now, they are tormenting his dead soul through outright lies and shameless sponsored articles in the media. The whole world know the facts; Kogi state government owed Edward Soje 10 months salaries, the poor soul sold his uncompleted personal house and car to survive, his wife recently gave birth to a set of triplets in Abuja. Any other narrative is alternative facts!
Instead of assuring the remaining Edward Sojes in Kogi state civil service who might be contemplating suicide that they will be paid as soon as possible, Kogi government is busy dancing naked in the market square! You have sponsored the head of service to tell the world that he was owed 8 months (when indeed it was 10 months) and was to be paid 6 months salaries in September. He died in October without getting paid though. You sponsored another report that Edward Soje died because he had partial stroke. We are still waiting to see Police autopsy report. You are selling another narrative that Edward Soje was killed by his wife, haba! Very soon, we will hear that Edward Soje offended a powerful witch in Ogori who vowed that he will not have children but now that his wife has delivered successfully he must die. When will you be tired of telling lies!!
