Information is a raw fact and data that are yet to be redefined in another formats that gives accurate accounts of event that take place with a view of targeting a particular audience.
In other words, it can be seen as an undiluted facts that described a situation in an exactly shape without addition or subtraction.

The primary source of information are those of first hands, face to face and original facts that source of emanation that are so clear to the public. For example; thesis, dissertations, memoirs, journals, interviews and TV/Radio broadcasts etc.

And again, tertiary source comprises of those information materials that give brief details of how and where to locate information from primary and secondary sources. Another examples are directories, bibliographies, abstracts and indexes and so on and so forth.
Information need is the sum total of information requires at a particular point in time to solve some problems at hand and beyond.
The information need by the people of Ajaokuta LGA include information on education, sports/recreation, culture, agriculture, economic development, religious activities, social activities, politics and government programs within and outside their territorial areas.
And again, information seeking behavior has to do with the attitudes exhibited by information seekers (users) to ensure they get the quest for their informational needs.
It is so glaring and clear that in an ideal societies, information are acquire, process, and organize in a well centralized area (library) where it can easily reach out to the public at any point in time. The essence of doing this is to quench the people quests for knowledge’s and other intellectual valuables that are capable of promoting their society for a better.
In Ajaokuta Local Government Area where we are living it is an otherwise, the sources of information for the people is on a scarce rate to the extend that the government, private individuals and other institutions do get their information usually from wrong sources that always put the area at risk and in danger.
It was deduced that out of 100% of its population, 33.5% are literates, 15% artisans, 40%farmers, 8.5% civil/public servants and 3% disables. Only 5% do get information from a reliable and viable sources while the rest 95% do get their information from wrong sources.
It was also deduced that the major source of information in this area include posters, bill boards, signposts, few from radio and television stations and so they said.
The attitudes of people in this area towards seeking for original information are too poor especially now that the whole world needs information for survival.
To them, they are too conservative about the traditional sources of information than the present world. But thank God, the worldwide area net work has come to stay with little appreciation from the youths and adults in the ward areas of LG.
Finally, this work unveiled that there in Ajaokuta LGA of kogi state ability for the present generation to lay hands on the past significant archives and records of the area is very rare due to the poor attitude of the people towards information.
Despite the efforts of the present administration of Kogi State in digitalization of the traditional council memoirs of the domain all is still stagnant; just because the people don’t appreciate the values of Information.
In a society where the above aforementioned are happening will experience social unrest like going the public domain to insult personalities, spreading and accepting of false information, lacked of awareness of latest trends among the citizens, cultural/traditional retardants and unlawful handle and mismanagement of information among all.
So, this study how ever, appeals to the government at all level, philanthropists, private and corporate organization to elect among other thing a well befitted Community Information Center (Public Library) for the people of Ajaokuta LGA that internet alone can not do it. If this is done it will help in promoting:
1. Education and dissemination of ideas.
2. Conservation of cultural heritage.
3. Accurate records keeping for research and reference purposes.
4. Dissemination of facts and,
5. Enthusiasm etc.
