Of course karma is one natural occurrence that never fails. Just like destiny, it can only be delayed. In Nigeria, a lot of minority has overtime stood the test of time against majority and Kogi is not an exception in this mysterious phenomenon. It is also worthy to note that the dissenting Justice stood contrary to his colleagues with sagacious jurisdiction. Although the displeasure of truth may make ill readers to use the verdict of his previous antecedents in arguing to object the sensitivity of his resentments but time shall set the records straight.

Recall that the sitting speaker of Kogi state house of Assembly was initially opposed by a G15 caucus of the house as against his labelled G5 lawmakers. The Amaechi versus Jona Jang tussle is also not too old to be forgotten. Most interesting is the governorship ruling of Taraba and River States last year which all went in favour of the appellants
having been floored at the lower tribunals and court of appeal. If not for the fact that the victors of last year Rivers and Taraba governorship petitions supreme court judgements were members of the opposition PDP, no one would have argued if allegations emerge to say that both judgements were bought.

Truly, in the eyes of a common man; this unforseen circumstances are accomplishments of human influence but to the reflecting souls, they are physical depiction of God’s power to overturn matters as it will please him and add benefit to humanity. Hence, the ways of God is never like that of man. In Kogi today, the average families cannot
afford a daily dollar(#400) expenditure per head. By implication, three square meals are irregular. With hardship comes wishes and wishes must be accompanied with prayer. Which prayer? It is not for me to answer but Kogites whom are already in communication with God.

Knowing fully well that the voice of the people is the voice of God, God shall overturn what is under contention as will better the welfare of Kogites and restore normalcy of commerce. There is no way traders will sell goods and services when civil servants are not paid salaries in a state where majority of its population is fully dependent on
civil service for survival. How can artisans and craftsmen/women work?

Bank over drafts are exhausting just as cooperative grants and loans are sinking as a result of circular unavailability of cash. Hence, the people will unconditionally cry to God for a change in leadership.

Comparing how things are now to what it used to be is enough to understand the PDP “de facto” slogan of “Change The Change”. In the past; complaints were of half salaries while today complains are contemplation on weather or not appointments are still valid. The new direction government kick started with staff verification exercise to ascertain genuine workers and save the state from its alleged over bloated workforce. I publicly and privately commended this as a bold step but today, the outcome of the exercise is completely a shadow to organised labour (NLC) which ought to be the voice of genuine civil servants. By implication the exercise is obviously not worthwhile
pending when the NLC comes out plane to clearly state her satisfaction.

Indeed, a cow will never know the value of its tail until its cut off. I cannot fathom how the once cursed Wada is now the popular wish of the people, the PDP characterised by “chop I chop” now substantially became an alternative in the events of rerun while home bedrooms and palours have turned voluntary prayer places for a change in state leadership. I know what God can do and he shall surely uphold the dissenting appeal court judgement as that is the only armistice his children are asking of him at the supreme court before lamentations can seize. God never fails. Keep hope Alive!

God Bless My Beloved Kogi State.

God Bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.
