President Buhari speech was awesome. It shows disappointment in the affairs of the country as it relates to the activities of criminal elements in the country. Either you call it Corruption, Boko haram, Fulani herdsmen, Militancy, kidnappers, Biafra, Politicians, Charley boy or any name that suits it in your locality.
The president shows a true emotion of a wounded Lion. He wanted all of us to also stand firm against this ugly scourge. That we have country men and women who are now merchant of war and faces of corruption is in acceptable. That we have people who followed corrupt elements to the court to show solidarity and later stand for a so call #ResumeOrResign  is shameful. That we have governor(s) of state(s) who make divisive statements in the the name of opposition or standing for what they benefited in the regime of corruption is unwarranted. That we see nothing wrong with the steeling of our treasury but think those who looted away our commonwealth are being wish hunted is making a complete parody of the giant strides of this government.
History lane has it that once in this country, a minister took over N200m to buy official car, there was no #ResumeOrResign group, the same minister was rewarded with a Senate seat; there was no #resign. #history
There was a probe in the pension scam, Mr Maina who was to probe the criminals became the criminal him self, he ran away from this country and pointed accusing finger on president JEG. There was no #resign ##history
Here we were, the former petroleum minister DAM, was invited for alleged cases of corruption three times by the Senate and she comfortably turned down the invitations. The president (GEJ) told the Senate on a live TV that she would not have time to work if she attend their invitations. The #ResumeOrResign did not activate it activism. #history
In this country, the president (a Ph.D holder) openly told Nigerians that stealing is not corruption. #ResumeOrResign was silent.
The Malabu oil scam happened and the hardship created by that high level corruption still leaves with us. The #ResumeOrResign was sleeping.
When the 200 Chibok girls were abducted the then president said it was a lie. For close to two years, the government privity made it impossible for the recovery effort. While soldiers were being killed and our territory being taken over by the cannibals, the security adviser became an ATM machine without a pin. There was no #ResumeOrResign. Instead we saw the convener carrying Jonathan on his bike to galvanise support for his reelection.
My worry is that when ever they failed in their plot, the tries to navigate through another direction.
They said he was on life-support, he then received a delegation. They said it was a scam; that he can not speak, then he spoke. They said why Hausa, he should return if he is alive; he did, then why not address the Nation; he did; no the message is too short. We want to beg the haters of Mr president to give up. Nigerians are behind him.
Welcome back the people’s president.
