The performance of the current administration in Kogi state has being rated ‘very poor and unimpressive’.
The All Progressives Congress (APC)-led federal government failed to deliver on the basic needs of Nigerians in the last two years because it lacked the experience and technical-know-how to administer the country .
APC has failed woefully. It is afflictive that the All Progressives Congress (APC), to which I belong in the last general elections, has not been able to manage its electoral victory as expected.
A lot of plans have been outlined but, not much has actually been seen in terms of progress and delivering of campaign promises; most of the campaign promises have actually not been met.
But two years into the APC’s governance, as a result of incompetence and while globetrotting; investors (both local & foreign) have withdrawn their monies from the System thereby creating economic inactivity and consequent depression that we are being faced with alarming rate of kidnapping. We are also facing another menace of insecurity in the hands of cultists attacking and displacing communities across the state.
I advised the state government to place little emphasis about what happened in the past, turn things around and stop blaming the past administrations, saying there was no need for blame games. On the economy, I noted that the sector had remained comatose since the coming of the APC.
I warned the party against repeating the mistakes made by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, which led to its ouster from power during the 2015 general election.
I belong to the group that is not very satisfied with the performance of the party; not only because the Audu Faleke political family is having a very serious political issue, but because there are other cases and instances where we are not happy with the performance of our party.
So, if I can leave that party, then you will know that the party had gone contrary seriously against my principles of life.
