Charity they say begins at home and Senator Ahmed Ogembe has taken every step in the right direction to ensure that the remotest part of his constituency benefit from community projects and timely interventions when necessary.

Ogembe, the Senator representing Kogi Central under Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has exemplified the modern day Nigerian Senator on the account of his stewardship and contribution towards the feats recorded by the 8th Senate so far.

Senator Ogembe has redefined representation in fulfilment of his mandate to serve his people through a vibrant representation backed by results.

Over the weekend, Ogembe marked his one year in office with massive empowerment of his people cutting across the five local governments in Kogi Central. Among other initiatives, he gave out 40 tricycles, 60 grinding machines, 40 motorcycles, 150 sewing machines and 45 generators.

He also commissioned 26 motorized boreholes and 6 transformers.

Senator Ogembe is a trailblazer whose office is widely opened not to only those from Kogi Central but to all Kogites. He has given out recommendation letters to so many youths from Kogi West and East which I am very much aware of. The hard working Senator believes in less noise and much action.

Very humble man whose door is own to everybody, he believes the office he is currently occupying belongs to the good people of Kogi Central.

Senator Ogembe is a philanthropist per excellence in and out of government and he has demonstrated an unrivalled achievement where so many Senators failed.

As a member of Appropriation, Defence, Power, Aviation, Public Procurement committees, he has added his voice in contributing to so many meaningful developments in the Senate.

No doubt, Ahmed Salau Ogembe has touched more lives by reducing poverty and creating opportunities for sustainable human development.

His people are happy with him because his leadership qualities are second to none.

I am delighted at the effort and I decide to share this development. The less privileged ones are selected and given motorcycle to be use as Okada; this will definitely help some youths in getting foods to their table and reduce crime.

I am encouraging Senator Ogembe to do more.
