RE: OSUN GUBER ELECTION OUTCOME; HARBINGER OF 2019 EXPECTATIONS.
I am constrained to write to you again sir to reiterate my earlier views on your administration because of my desire to see you succeed.
Osun governorship is an eye opener to the dangers inherent in not resolving issues of salaries and pensions that have remained intractable in Kogi State. Kogi State is mainly a civil service state and unless this status is changed through proactive government policies for diversification to enhance internally generated revenue, any arrangement that does not resolve this issue will not spare your administration and party an encore of the Osun 2018 situation.
Of equal importance is the issue of imposition that saw those dissatisfied with impunity seek other political parties to actualize their aspirations.
To avoid electoral humiliation,your Excellency must listen to the voice of reason and perish every intention and action that will reenact the issues that prevailed in Osun before the election.
Many view your administration in very negative light but that does not mean it has been all negative. There are areas though few that your administration have been outstanding but all will count for nothing if the two issues I pointed out are not addressed.
Democracy is all about the people and operating in contrary ways will be punished by the people as Osun people have shown.
When mention is made now or in the future about the New Direction Government, it will be referred to as Alh. Yahaya Bello’s administration and not that of a twin brother, brainbox or Oracle of whatever colour.
There is still time to make amends for past indiscretions and I hope the Almighty Allah (SWT) will grant Your Excellency the grace for the required wisdom to make things right.
