My Leader Sir,
I bring you greetings from Gbedde Axis, The most populated axis in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State with about ten communities blessed with prominent politicians and highly intellectual individuals. No gain saying that Gbede is the engine room of Ijumu politics.
Sir, I must commend your effort towards ensuring that quality leadership which always give birth to good governance prevails in Ijumu. No doubt, your style of leadership draws the attention of even the opposition which make them have no options than to join the new direction government. You are an apostle of empowerment and no wonder our people nicked named you “the ajè awuni jè” of the Okun race. You have written your name in gold as you’ve transmit positive energy to most of our youths. May our ancestors protect you against all evils and continue to grant you the wisdom to pilot the affairs of the most sophisticated Local Government in Kogi State.
As a stakeholder Sir, putting into cognisance your input towards recommending Ijumu people for state appointment Sir, It is very much fundamental I draw to your attention that the current National Youth Council Chairman (NYCN) Kogi Chapter Hon. Israel Alonge is still under the government payroll as an appointee (Board Member). He should be compelled to resign to give room for other committed GYBists to serve.
It is very sacrosanct to also put the record straight for public consumption that I am not after anybody’s job. I am a committed GYBist who will stop at nothing to point out errors. I am a lieutenant of the New Direction government hence I opine that our tentacles should be spread across all communities rather than isolating power for selfish reasons.
Finally Sir, I am using this medium to say thank you on behalf of all progressive Ijumu youths for your consistent show of love.
Sir, I will leave you with my favorite quote from Tupac Shakur “We are all dying to live but we are all living to die….” what we will be remembered for?
Yours Sincerely,
Comrade Prime Abubakar.
(Omo Baba li akojô!)
A Concerned Ijumu Son.
