Hon. Momoh Sanni Omonori, writing from Lagos State, has extended heartfelt commendations to His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, for his purposeful leadership, visionary governance, and the remarkable developmental strides currently being witnessed across the state. He also expressed deep appreciation to the Governor for the recent absorption of the Kogi State Vigilante Corps into the state civil service—a gesture he described as both impactful and commendable.
Hon. Omonori highlighted the fact that the people of Kogi State, both at home and in the diaspora, continue to acknowledge and celebrate the Governor’s unwavering dedication to infrastructure development, youth empowerment, and security enhancement. According to him, these efforts have brought visible transformation and renewed confidence in the future of the state.
He prayed that Almighty God grants Governor Ododo continued wisdom, strength, and good health as he steers the affairs of Kogi State toward greater prosperity.
However, Hon. Omonori respectfully appealed to His Excellency to consider initiating a fresh recruitment exercise into the Kogi State Civil Service. He described this step as strategic and timely, especially in addressing the growing unemployment rate and improving the living conditions of citizens—particularly youths and recent graduates eager to contribute meaningfully to the development of the state.
He emphasized that civil service recruitment would:
Strengthen the state’s workforce for effective service delivery;
Reduce insecurity by productively engaging idle youths;
Boost economic activities and promote social stability;
Restore hope to thousands of qualified but unemployed citizens.
According to Hon. Omonori, “Governor Ododo’s administration has already charted a clear path of progress, and this initiative would further cement his legacy as a compassionate leader deeply committed to the welfare and prosperity of Kogites.”
He concluded by reiterating his admiration for the Governor’s exemplary leadership and prayed that Almighty God continues to bless, guide, and protect him as he leads Kogi State to even greater heights.
