With deep sense of humility, the Association of Persons Living With Disability in Kogi Central (KCPWDA)senatorial district humbly appeal to His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello to consider our members for appointment as Special Adviser on Disability Matters to the Governor.

This appeal became necessary not only as result of effort we put in place during electioneering process to ensure the re-election His Excellency Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello as the Executive Governor of the State but also as means of ensuring equity and fairness among the various segment of the State.

His Excellency, it should be noted that since 2003, when the office of the S. A. on Disability Matters to Governor was established, the people of Kogi Central Senatorial District have never been privileged to occupy the position as it has always been occupied by persons with disabilities from Kogi East.

For purpose of clarity, this said office since its inception was occupied by:

Hon. Solomon Yahaya (2003 – 2011) – Kogi East
Hon. Hassan Amodu (2016 – 2019) – Kogi East

It is worthy to mention that Hon. Solomon Yahaya also served as S. A. to Governor on Local Government and Chieftain Affair during the Administration of Idris Ichala Wada.

Joint Organisation of Persons With Disabilities (JONAPWD) Chairman

Hon. Solomon Yahaya (2003 – till date) Kogi East

Kogi Sate Person’s Living with Disability Chairmen; Hon. Solomon Yahaya, Hon. Hassan Amodu and Comr. Arome Ibrahim all from Kogi East.

It is in view of this, we appeal to you once again to consider our request.

Thanks in anticipation.
