His Excellency Muhammad Buhari, President Federal Republic of Nigeria. Our dear leader, certain thorny matters that have put most Kogites nerves on the edge. They are very worrying issues, bordering on the current state of affairs of our own dear native land – Kogi, and particularly the welfare of my fellow Kogites.

And lest I forget, let me bring to your knowledge our President Muhammad Buhari and other political leaders, that Nigerians, no, I mean the masses, who queued in the scorching sun, to give you their mandate, seem at a loss over your helplessness in tackling head on some intractable intimidating problems, especially in Kogi State. This issue seems to have defied all known strategies to nip it in the bud.

His Excellency, Kogites are also bothered about your hazy perception of crucial state matters, especially those bordering on unpaid salaries, injustice in the law court and your lackadaisical attitude towards addressing problems that may hamper national development. There are numerous other problems that still stare us in the face, yet to be tackled and even many more.

May you not be caught unawares, if the restless ghosts of many of our fellow Kogites that were forcibly dispatched to the other side of the divide, began to haunt you day and night.

His Excellency, Kogites came out massively with the love we have for you and the Late Prince Abubakar Audu queued up under ultra violet rays of the sun, ensured they voted for you.

As elected leader, you cannot continue to watch placidly, unperturbed by these strange happening in Kogi State, so that the ship of the nation does not capsize during your tenure.
