The Elulu of Mopa and Chairman, Mopamuro Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Muyiwa Ibeun has celebrated the brand new President of Mopa Welfare Society (MWS), Chief Albert Oluseyi Olukotun – Omoribaun II on his birthday.
He described Omoribaun (as he is popularly called) as a worthy Mopa son who imbibes the true characters of Mopa in terms of sterness for positive virtues.
Oba Ibeun added that Omoribaun, a seasoned journalist and the publisher of Okun People Magazine, has been tested over time at all fronts, and his integrity remains untainted.
He said Omoribaun as a veteran has put into use all the qualities of a professional journalist to make meaningful life for himself and the world around him, stressed that his selflessness has no limit.
“Little wonder his emergence as President, MWS was seamless, as it an indication of his effort to make people life better, and they are simply reciprocating,” he said.
Oba Ibeun siezed the opportunity to appreciate other Mopa sons and daughters who have been contributing positively to the development of Mopa. He urges Omoribaun to learn from them, and they should also learn from him.
He prayed for the celebrant, said God will elevate him, and make her new year more comforting.
