House of Assembly hopeful, Hon. Olonikadi Idowu Motunrayo (aka MJ) has formally declared her aspiration to vie for the Kabba-Bunu I state constituency seat in the Kogi State House of Assembly in 2027.
She announced her ambition during visits to all the nine wards of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Executives in Kabba, Kabba-Bunu LGA.
In her various speeches in all the wards, she was deliberate and intentional about her political aspiration to become the pioneer Assembly member, Kabba-Bunu 1 State Constituency.

She implored the party executives and supporters to rally round the administration President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, executive Governor of Kogi State, to ensuring that the party win overwhelmingly in the 2027 general elections.
She also used the opportunity to remind her hosts that her coming into the contest is not a do or die affair.
“I am hopeful that I will get the party ticket with your unwavering support. But I must also say that this race is not a do or die affair. If it is the ample time to become your first female House of Assembly representative in Kabba, to God be the glory,” she enthused.
In response to her plea for support, Okekoko ward chairman, Prince Francis Segun Emmanuel, eulogised Hon. Olonikadi for displaying a high sense of integrity, maturity and composure describing her as worthy of good representation if given the chance.
Similar good responses also sufficed from all the other wards she visited. They unanimously prayed for her to succeed in the electioneering processes and also urged her to compliment the dividends of democracy championed by the executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
