Olamaboro Women Endorse Gov. Bello for Second Term in Office

The Progressive Women Association and the entire Okwoli daughters from Olamaboro local government area of Kogi state on Sunday endorsed Governor Yahaya Bello for a second term in office.

The event which took place at the APC secretariat in Okpo also witnessed the decamping of members of the association, who are in opposition parties, in their hundreds.

The President of Okwoli Daughters and the leader of Progressive Women Association, Mrs Abugede stated that their support for Gov Bello is hinged on his tremendous achievements in the local government.

She mentioned the construction of roads, digging of boreholes, youth empowerment, building of Okpo central mosque among others done for the people of Olamaboro under the Bello administration as their reasons for endorsing him. 

She also added that they are rooting for Gov Yahaya Bello’s reelection for picking their industrious son, Chief Edward Onoja as running mate.

She urge all Olamaboro women to support Gov Yahaya Bello and Chief Edward Onoja for Olamaboro to continue enjoying the dividends of democracy.

The decampes were received by Hon. Yunisa Olofu and Hon Danjuma Onoja.
