The Special Adviser on Youth and Student Matters to the Kogi State Governor, Oladele John Nihi, has donated ₦1 million to support the construction of a community mosque in his hometown.
The generous donation, aimed at promoting religious harmony and community development, was made during the turbaning ceremony of the Chief Iman of Aiyegunle Gbede, Khalifat Sheikh Abdulrasheed Saidu Arekemase and fundraising event organized by the mosque’s building committee.
Nihi, known for his commitment to empowering youth and supporting community initiatives, emphasized the importance of religious tolerance and unity.
“This mosque will serve as a symbol of our collective values and shared humanity,” he stated.
This charitable gesture aligns with Nihi’s ongoing efforts to support education, healthcare, and community development initiatives across Kogi State.
