Okun Parapo, a socio cultural political pressure group in the western senatorial district of Kogi state, has expressed gratitude to Rt Hon. James Abiodun Faleke for founding their leader, Hon. Musa Bakare worthy of appointment as Member of the Board of Governing Council of Waziri Umoru Federal Polytechnic Kebbi
According to the group, Musa Bakare’s recent appointment is indeed a well-deserved recognition of his longstanding contributions to the political landscape of Kogi State, describing his appointment as well deserving.
In a statement signed by Chief Abiodun David, the group stated that as a prominent figure in the political scene, Bakare has played pivotal roles in various political party politics over the years and has shown unwavering dedication and commitment to the advancement of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“His journey in politics began in 1999 at Ijeshatedo Surulere in Lagos State where he joined the Alliance for Democracy (AD). Since then, he has consistently played pivotal roles in the political party politics of Nigeria in the political philosophy of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his leader, Chief Abiodun Faleke.
“He was an active member of the Action Congress (AC), the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), and most notably, a foundation member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state in 2014.
“Bakare’s roles as the State Secretary of the Buhari Support Organization (BSO) in the run up to 2014 successful Presidential election and as the State Coordinator of the Tinubu Support Organization (TSO) till date highlight his commitment to the success of the APC in Kogi State. His involvement in the 2015 gubernatorial election and the 2023 APC campaign project further underscores his value as a loyal and dedicated member of the party.
“Bakare’s leadership as the National Coordinator for Team Faleke showcases his organizational skills and his ability to mobilize support for political doctrines. His peers and constituents hold him in high regard for his unwavering dedication, loyalty, and commitment to the party’s success,” the statement said.
Okun Parapo described Bakare’s appointment as a testament to his hard work and contributions to the political landscape of Kogi State, for which they greatly appreciates Hon. Faleke.
