Okun Development Association President, Barr. Femi Mokikan, on behalf of the entire good people of Okun land heartily felicitates with our Muslim faithful on this auspicious occasion of Ed-el-Kabir celebration.
As you once again fulfill one of the Islamic obligations, may the Almighty Allah grant the supplications you made during the fasting, especially those channelled toward the development of Okun land.
As you celebrate today, I admonish you to reflect on virtues of peace love and unity, especially now that Okun is in dire need of a consensus leader that will represent us at the Lugard House.
I urge you all to allow the lessons learnt during the fasting to continually guard and guide your actions.
