Arrogance is a disease that leads people to sickness of mind and incorrect behavior, those who live in a state of pride and deception inhabit a dark internal world which will definitely lead them to failure. This state of mind wears them down and ages them; it has a severe negative impact on their psychological and physical well-being.
What I mean here is that, there is an igbira proverb which says ” there is always a relationship between the sight of apapa leaf and the market” this also make sense to another one that says, “the bird which vow not to ever land on the ground but seen on the rock is close to humilation”.
After the first tribunal pre-hearing which held on the 22nd of May, 2019 at the zone II magistrate court, Abuja, i have been receiving lots of phone calls from the good people of Okene II constituency, who have a progressive mind for the people’s choice, Hon. Sanni Salau Ogembe concerning the visiting of the royal fathers by the candidate of All Progressive Party (APC) Mr Ahmed Dahiru AKA Hacco, in the last KSHA election, seeking for the attention of the royal fathers in the constituency for the favor of being declared as the people’s choice, and also to see if the matter can be settled traditionally.
Technically and psychologically, it make no sense to me as the tribunal have their sitting already, and I don’t think there is any royal father in Okene II would want to make him self so low and cheap by calling my candidate for such irrelevant meeting.
So, I urge them to provide for their counsels a concrete evidence and witnesses to defend the tribunal petition, because it is not constitutional to involve a traditional ruler into a matter which have been addressed before the tribunal.
I was thinking about how could it be possible for team evolution to welcome such invitation even if the royal fathers could gather such courage and call up such meeting, what will happen to good people of Okene that was bitterly intimidated during the course? What will happen to our conscience each time we remember the thousands of youths, women and adults that was deprived of their constitutional rights? what about those that escape deaths? So there fore, this is mission of no going back for the team evolution and victory is our expectations.
We have no thugs, no gun, no machete, and not even a security agency to use to fight the power of the oppressor during the last election, but we know how to fight and defend our mandate in the judiciary, a mandate for the people’s choice.
My good people of Okene II, who believe in the progress of our mission, I wish to used this use this opportunity to make your mind ease for sure that our stolen mandate must be restored and we will be go to any length to see justice is been done.
