It is a well known fact that presently, God in His infinite mercy decided to bless the people of Okene II Constituency with so much human resources as it parades arrays of people with impeccable characters among whom are presently serving in various public offices both in the state and at the federal level.
Aside His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo who is a gift from God to the entire Kogi state through the dexterity and eagle eye of our supreme political leader, His Excellency, the former governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello.
The former governor was able to identify and spiritually located him, gave him all the necessary support to become the governor of our dear state, Okene II constituency is also proud to have many other outstanding leaders that are making us proud in their various places of assignment.
Looking at the effort of our first female Accountant General of Kogi State, Hajia Habitat Oyiza Onumoko who was all over the state mobilizing people for party ahead of the election and her current performance in office so far, one need no forecast to tell you that she is one of the political leaders of Kogi State from Okene II Constituency.
In addition, we should not be quick to forget the former Accountant General of the State, Alh. Jibril Momoh, and of course, Hon. Tijani Ahmad Ozigis (TAO), the member representing Okene/Ogori Magongo Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.
Moreso, the former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Momohjimoh Lawal, and Alh. Adams Onota are persons who are best described in Ebira adage to as “People in Ogane and their tentacles spread across every Omavi of Ebiraland. These people are proudly from Okene Okene II Constituency.
In essence, I am privilege to be under the canopy of these worthy leaders of Okene II Constituency as a mere messenger and by extension a messenger to the entire people of Okene II community.
