Chairman, Okene Local Government Council, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad, has congratulated the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on his conferment with the of Commander of Order of the Niger (CON) national honours award.
In a statement issued on Monday, Muhammad said the national honour bestowed on Governor Bello was another testament of his practical contributions to the political and socio-economic development of Kogi state in particular and the country at large.
“The governor’s unprecedented achievements on infrastructural developments, his unmatched records on security, women and youths development initiative and contributions to national issues have since earned the state high rating in all areas of governance.
“On behalf of the good people of Okene local government council, I convey our felicitation and congratulate Your Excellency on the well deserved national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON),” he said.
