Little Miss Kogi Beauty Winner for the year 2012/2013 is  Kosi Ann Okolo, a 9yr-old pupil of Salem Wisdom School, Lokoja.

Kosi beat 20 other contestants to emerge the winner.  She is very intelligent and bold.

Kosi Ann Okolo within her one year in office carried out some charitable works by visiting the orphanage homes in Dekina, Lokoja and Egbe, donating gift items worth thousands of Naira including food items and educational materials. She also represented Kogi state in some national competitions like Abuja and Calabar carnivals where she emerged 4th position among 36 states of the federation.

Kosi used her office judiciously and gave the event Little Miss Kogi (L.M.K) serious recognition among states and the nation at large.

Today, Kosi, the former most beautiful and intelligent child in Kogi state is number 1 in her school by coming first position in her class.

In the  year 2013, The C.E.O of  Aseda Media Consult, Sunday Baiye a.k.a ASEDA, and the crew put up another wonderful surprise by inviting the wife of the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Mrs. Tokunbo Awoniyi, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Treasure Bakery, MTN, Honeywell Noodles, Mr. Biggs , Q- bouncy world of party, fun and entertainment and Gee Touch Event to put together one of the best events in the history of Kogi state at Confluence Beach Hotel on the 25th may, 2013 with the 21 local government areas fully represented.

The performances put up by the children in the speech, beauty contest and dance competition was WOW!!!

The winner for this year’s speech competition and beauty pageant are from Okene local Government Area. As at today , the current most beautiful child and intelligent girl in Kogi state is by name Salma Sadiq. In Confluence Beach Hotel, Lokoja in May, 2010 in a Saturday preceding the children day of that year the hall was filled to  capacity due to the great awareness and its importance to the state and the  children at large as part of our efforts to repackage the programme, Aseda Media Consult and the crew took time out to give the event a better look by including some stakeholders and companies within and outside the state. The Little Miss Kogi was not organised  in the year 2011 due to lack of sponsorship, but the year 2012/2013 was a blow with the involvement of some multinational companies like Globacom and Honeywell Super Fine Foods in collaboration with the Ministry of Women Affairs and Stars and Talents Children Organisation, and some banks within Lokoja metropolis. The 2012/2013 Little Miss Kogi beauty pageant was an eye opener to even the states government as the winner for the that year was called upon to represent Kogi state in national carnival in Abuja.

May 25th, 2013 was the 4th edition of Little Miss Kogi beauty contest and a total number of 21 contestants represented all the  21 Local Government Areas  of Kogi State. The activities lined up for that memorable events were speech presentation, dance competition and presentation of award to the kogites who in one way or the other contributed to the development of the children in the state. The recipients were Hon Barr Janet Makun, Mrs Funmilayo Ojo, Mrs Funke Eseyin, Honeywell Noodles, Mrs Philo Baiyere and many others. Aseda Media Consult Nig Ltd and Stars and Talents children organisation is set to make the world a better place for the children in kogi state and beyond. Watch out for “Kogi children and the centenary celebration musical concert, come October 1st 2013!
