Okene Local Government Administrator, Mallam Abdulrazaq Muhammad has congratulated the new Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward David Onoja on his nomination by the Governor Yahaya Bello, screening and successful swearing in as the second in command in Kogi State.
In a congratulatory message he personal signed, the Council Administrator described the event as historic and progressive in nature as the government has once again regained the long lost confidence and loyalty of the former occupant of the exalted office.
He said the office of the Governor and Deputy Governor of Kogi State will now work as a united and committed people with same goals and vision of making Kogi a destination of pride, investment opportunities, peace and justice.
“The former Chief of Staff to the Governor have shown uncommon loyalty, capacity and enthusiasm in the affairs of moving Kogi State forward. He has equally contributed ideas that shows he is a man of impeccable character whose immense contributions have changed the face of the ones idled entity to a new state of Confluence of opportunities.
“Therefore, on behalf of the good people of Okene Local Government, I wish to heartily congratulates you on your new appointment as the Deputy Governor of Kogi State. I assure you of our support and loyalty as you assume this prestigious position,” he said.
