Lech Walesa read and I quote; ”The sole and basic source of our strength is the solidarity of workers, peasants and the intelligentsia, the solidarity of the nation, the solidarity of people who seek to live in dignity, truth, and in harmony with their conscience.”

Our education, moral upbringing, exposures and power become useful when translated Into public service and human development wrapped in conscience that we are only a servant to the people not their Lord.

Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, I am the least among you all and the poorest but I refuse to settle for less. I refuse to be quiet just because of my background of education, and ethnicity. I refuse to be silent because my value and totality of what I am can only be felt by my contribution to the system, society and humanity direct or indirect…on this premises I have come to us again with the rod of celebration in my right hand, and staff of ideas in my left hand as I celebrate Hon Muktar Bajeh, the newly elected House of Assembly member, Adavi/Okehi Constituency, Kogi State as heaven crown him with another year today.

I have decided to use this two rod in my article today but mind you there are still more rods in kept for future and I trust God to use them right as we progress in the struggle of good governance in the state and Nigeria at large.

Hon Muktar, happy birthday. As you know I don’t celebrate people the way others do, in celebration i prefer talking to you, discuss real issues that is capable of helping you in your new assignment and also shaping your life and charge you to work your heart out for the benefit of the good people that trusted you and voted you to power, power that benefit not the people is a waste of time and resources, in fact, failure. No two ways about it and you can’t explain it out.

So, I beseech you to give me your listen ears as I speak to your subconscious heart. For a child can only be change and charge at the early stage in life before he or she get to adulthood. Your new position or responsibility demand you to be open to correction, ideas, information, criticism, relationship and building peace and unity across your constituency and also Ebira land at large. In doing so, money is not enough, surrounding  yourself with thugs and arrogant followers is not enough, been arrogant yourself to those who have helped you through the journey so far think you have all power is not enough. Be reminded that you have been given some power does not mean you have all power, all power belong to God. So, be careful to be care free, but wisdom, skills and understanding are needed to run this race…selah.

Taapsee Pannu spoke to me this morning while in my location to pick the new vibration and frequency of these new revelation. He read and I quote; ”I never regret or sit back and think that I shouldn’t have said something. There are a lot of people who tell me that you shouldn’t say this or that or should keep quiet, and I really think that It can either be true to my conscience or can live a fake life by staying quiet.”

Hon, you and I know the system and the foundation that brought you to power is stained and rugged. I also understand that in politics there is no clean and saint system, somehow or somewhere compromise must have taken place but what you do with the power become so important and interesting to the people whether to let go of how your emergence come about or to still capitalise on it… Happy Birthday.

You must also understand that in these new location you found yourself your conducts in public must be prudent and full of wisdom because enough of parading a manner-less and conduct-less leaders in our constituency who are not ashamed but full of themselves for themselves by themselves…guest what? their end is shame. Mark My Word

It was my father who said to a man in the cause of discussion while I listen as a child in Ajaokuta local government of Kogi State. He said; ”the greatest enemy of a man is his character, a characterless man is hopeless man, a hopeless man is a visionless man, a visionless man is a dead man and a dead man is a liability to the people and the society and a waste even if you package him with the most expensive abada, drive him with the best car, or fly him with best plane and put him in power… he will remain liability and a threat to the society… Happy character upgrade.

Hon Muktah, this article is not to say you have a dented character but you must learn from others who appear innocent and get to power to become monster and a threat to the society… happy birthday.

They say to me ”power corrupt”,  then I went home to meditate on the phrase and I concluded that power does not corrupt, it only bring out the corruption that have been hidden in you waiting for manifestation. If there is seed of corruption and arrogance in you, kill it now so that when you are been squeezed by pressure and responsibility what will come from you will be clean and Honorable. Squeeze or arrange it will not bring apple juice but orange juice…happy birthday.

You do pick calls now, make sure you still pick when you get to power… happy birthday.

You reply text messages, now ensure you keep it up when you are fulling in office. Happy birthday.

You care to listen now, make sure you keep it up after 1 -2years in power…happy birthday.

These little things matters because power will test you but I pray you will not fall…Amen.

I pray as you progress and wax stronger, all you need is to leave a legacy in the land will be granted unto you…May you not use your hand to destroy your name…happy new you.
