The Secretary of Okehi Local Government Caretaker committee, Hon. Mathew James Omeiza, has congratulated Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on his swearing-in ceremony as Governor of Kogi State which took place today in Lokoja.
In a statement issued by Hon. Mathew and made available to journalists, he expressed confidence that the new governor would consolidate on the lofty achievements of his predecessor by delivering more dividends of democracy to the people.
The Okehi scribe also congratulated Alhaji Ali Bello on his appointment as Chief of Staff to the Governor, and Barr. Salami Ozigi Deedat as Commissioner designate respectively.
He expressed optimism that Mr. Ali Bello and Hon Deedat, along with other newly appointed officials will deploy their varied skills to the service of the state.
While commending Governor Ahmed Ododo for hitting the ground running by nominating his cabinet members and appointing aides, Hon. Mathew said appointment Ali Bello and Hon. Deedat is particularly a befitting development that is rooted in dedication and commitment to furthering the New Direction government ideals.
“The appointment is clearly fit for purpose and is deserving for a governor like Ododo who is development oriented and ready to deliver on his campaign promises,” he noted
