Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has commended his Special Adviser on Youth and Student Matters, Amb. Oladele John Nihi, for his proactive leadership and dedication to youth empowerment.
He gave the commendation while on a tour of the newly established Youth Hub of the Oladele John Nihi (OJN) Foundation.
Governor Ododo, visibly impressed by the vision behind the project, described the facility as a “vital platform” that will serve as a catalyst for nurturing future leaders, job creators, and change agents across the state.
“This Youth Hub is more than just a building; it is a symbol of our commitment to the future of Kogi State,” the Governor stated during his tour. “We are proud of the initiative and I assure you of my administration’s unflinching support in ensuring that our youths are equipped with the tools they need to succeed.”

Hon. Oladele John Nihi expressed deep gratitude to the Governor for his presence and words of encouragement. He reiterated that the Hub was born out of a desire to give Kogi youths a fighting chance in today’s competitive world.
“The Governor’s visit is a huge morale boost to us,” Nihi said. “It shows that he truly believes in the potential of young people and is willing to invest in our dreams.”

The Youth Hub, a brainchild of Hon. Oladele John Nihi, is a strategic initiative designed to provide a safe space for education, innovation, mentorship, and skills development for the young people of Kogi State.
The facility is expected to run a series of impactful programs ranging from digital and vocational skills training to mentorship schemes, seminars, and access to educational resources. Its establishment aligns with the Governor’s broader vision of inclusive governance and sustainable development through strategic investment in human capital.
