The Peoples’ Democratic Party’s candidate (PDP) for Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency in the forthcoming general election, Hon. Paul Haruna Gowon (IJN) has been applauded for the grading of Egume-Ojikpadala-Ojuwo-Abejukolo roads and provision of other amenities in the ward.
The co-ordinator of “Kogi in safe hands” and one time House of Assembly aspirant, Hon Godwin Meliga appreciated Hon. Paul Haruna on behalf of the people of Ojikpadala ward in Dekina Local Government Area while inspecting the road recently.
Hon. Meliga noted that the grading of these roads and opening-up of other feeder roads in the ward had greatly brought relief to motorists and other road users in the area.
He stressed that if other elected politicians would emulate the good gesture of Hon. Gowon Paul Haruna in his selfless service to humanity and recognizing the efforts of the electorates, development would have been evenly spread in the state.
He enjoined the people of Ojikpadala ward to reciprocate the good work of this administration by standing behind all PDP candidates in the forthcoming general election, adding that proper sensitization homework would be carried out to ensure that the people are not deceived in the exercise.
The co-ordinator pointed out that the present administration is prepared to provide more dividends of democracy to the populace if there would be total support for the government.
Hon. Meliga therefore appealed to the people of Ojikpadala ward to ensure that they collect their Permanent Voter Cards PVCs to enable them exercise their civic right in all the elections.
In his contribution, the grassroots mobilizer, Hon. Emmanuel Meliga noted that the grading network of roads by Hon. Paul Haruna would improve the socio-economic development of the area.
