Ogidi Community Celebrates Gov Ododo’s One Year of Unwavering Dedication to People of Kogi

Ogidi Development Union (ODU) has hailed Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his commitment to inclusive governance.

In a goodwill message signed by the National President of ODU, Kayode Eniolorunda, the people of Ogidi community in Ijumu local government of Kogi state congratulated Governor Ododo on his one year anniversary.

ODU noted that “today marks a significant milestone in your journey as the Chief Servant of Kogi State. Over the past year, you’ve demonstrated unwavering dedication to the people of Kogi, and your transformative leadership has yielded remarkable achievements.

“Your commitment to inclusive governance has been evident in the historic election of local leaders and strategic appointments that promote grassroots development.”

ODU said the people of Kogi have also benefited from Governor Ododo’s efforts in healthcare advancement, including the upgrade of Ogidi Cottage Hospital into a state-owned facility.

“Furthermore, your infrastructure development initiatives, such as the reconstruction of Kabba-Ogidi-Ayere Road, have improved transportation, economic growth, and interconnectedness. Your vision for a better Kogi is inspiring, and we’re grateful for your selfless service.

“As you celebrate this milestone, we acknowledge your achievements in: Agricultural development by boosting food security through modern farming tools and support for smallholder farmers. Also, you have improve quality education, improving schools, providing scholarships, and training teachers.”

The Ogidi Development Union applauded Governor Ododo’s commitment to security, enhancing law enforcement capabilities, community policing, and technological advancements.

They commended the Governor for creating job opportunities and innovative programs to equip young people with skills.

“We look forward to continued collaboration and pledge our support for your future endeavors. Your legacy will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on Kogi State.
