The Executive Chairman of Ofu Local Government Area, Hon. Musa Muhammed Lawal, has extended his warmest Sallah greetings to the good people of Ofu and Kogi State at large, as Muslims across the globe commemorate this sacred season of sacrifice, obedience, and spiritual renewal.
In his Sallah message, Hon. Lawal called on the people to embrace and reflect the exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), emphasizing the timeless virtues of humility, discipline, sacrifice, and compassion as enshrined in the Holy Qur’an. He urged citizens to remain steadfast in upholding these values, noting that they are essential pillars for peace, unity, and sustainable societal development.

The Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to people-oriented governance, grassroots transformation, and the consolidation of democratic dividends in Ofu Local Government. He stated that his leadership remains resolute and strategically positioned to deliver impactful projects, strengthen local institutions, and elevate Ofu to a model of excellence in governance.
Hon. Lawal further expressed profound appreciation to his supporters, political allies, party faithfuls, and loyalists for their unflinching support, trust, and solidarity. He acknowledged that their collective mandate continues to inspire his administration’s drive for excellence, accountability, and inclusive development.
“Your support remains the backbone of this administration. Together, we are building a stronger, more progressive Ofu that reflects the true essence of good governance and responsive leadership,” he stated.
He assured the people that he will continue to deploy every legitimate political and administrative instrument within his mandate to position Ofu Local Government as a beacon of development, unity, and prosperity in Kogi State.
Hon. Lawal concluded by praying for peace, long life, and abundant prosperity for the people of Ofu, urging continued support and cooperation with the government as it advances its developmental agenda.
