The Joy’s Family Poverty Alleviation Foundation (JFPAF) has praised Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration, describing his two years in office as eventful and promising.

The Foundation, in its congratulatory message on the governor’s two years anniversary, signed by the MD/CEO, Mrs Joy Ugbedeojo Onuh, praised Ododo’s remarkable achievements in transforming Kogi State, citing significant improvements in education, infrastructure, healthcare, and agriculture.

She highlighted his commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance, which has earned him widespread recognition and admiration.

“Governor Ododo’s leadership has brought about notable advancements and growth in Kogi State, making him a revered and esteemed leader,” Mrs. Onuh said.

The Foundation boss commended the governor focus on youth empowerment, job creation, and community development, which has contributed to the state’s progress.

She stressed further that Ododo’s administration has prioritized infrastructure development, with over 100 kilometers of roads rehabilitated and contracts for an additional 300 kilometers underway.

“The governor has also invested in education, approving ₦600 million for WAEC fees for over 18,000 senior secondary school students and ₦522 million for other critical examinations.”

“In agriculture, Ododo’s administration has launched initiatives to boost food security, including the “Wet Season Agricultural Intervention Programme” with an investment of over ₦7 billion, benefiting nearly 10,000 farmers.”

“The health sector has also seen improvements, with the rehabilitation and construction of healthcare facilities, recruitment of medical personnel, and provision of modern equipment.”

“The governor’s focus on security has led to increased salaries for local vigilantes and collaboration with federal security agencies, effectively addressing banditry and kidnapping,” she added.

According to her, the administration has promoted youth empowerment and job creation through innovative programs in entrepreneurship, agriculture, and vocational training.

She therefore prayed to God to give more wisdom and good health to the governor in piloting the affairs of the state to a greater level.
