Chairman House Committee on Works, Transport and Communication and member representing Dekina-Biraidu State Constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon, Moses Idoko Ododo has earned another award – 2017 Distinguished Legislator.
The Conveners of the 3rd Kogi Build Environment and Building Materials presented the Award at Lokoja.
The leader of the delegation, Baale of Oworo Kingdom and Secretary, BEBM Advisory Council, Chief Olorogun Ben Fejuku while delivering his speech on behalf of the Association, described Ododo as a Rural Developing Agent considering the governor-like project he has sponsored and commissioned in his constituency.
Fejuku said Ododo has earned the 2017 Distinguished Legislator Award by the delivery of Human Capacity and Infrastructural Development projects to the downtrodden constituents of Dekina-Biraidu.
Part of the delegation, Mr. Joseph Adebayo said Ododo needs to be encouraged as he is worthy of this kind of awards, Adebayo added that his performance as exposed him to this level of encomium and popularity.
‘Performance has no hidden place’, Adebayo said.
The Build Environment and Building Materials in guise of the award presentation also pleaded with Ododo to run a 2nd term owing to the rumour that he will go back to his business after this tenure.
Journalists while giving their remarks said the whole world is proud of Ododo.
Hon. Yizo Ogembi Abwa, 2015 APC Bassa State Constituency said the efforts of Ododo are indelible once and he is glad to be associated with him.
Mr. Micheal Abu described Ododo as a useful youth who is setting a pace for Nigeria politicians due to the incomparable dividends of democracy he has delivered to his people.
Hon. Ododo Moses thanked God Almighty for the opportunity to serve the people in this capacity, he also thanked his constituents for entrusting their mandate onto him while giving his remarks.
He also appreciated the BEBM for founding him worthy amongst his peers for such highly referenced award.
Ododo said he has come to make a distinction in politics, thanking his colleagues at the 6th Assembly and the Governor of Kogi State Gov. Y.A. Bello for the support he has enjoyed and still enjoying from them.
Furthermore, Ododo said he is encouraged and there are still more multiple projects ongoing presently and will be commissioned soon.
Receiving the award with him is his wife, Mrs. Alimi Ododo.
