The Kogi State President, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Comrade Mohammed Sanusi, says Kogi State is working, with NULGE being the greatest beneficiary of the benevolent administration of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo.
Comrade Sanusi who could not hide his joy and appreciation for the administration of Gov Ododo, said since the coming on board of Gov. Ododo, “it has been one day, one good news. The next day another good news about the improvement of the working conditions of Local Government workers”.
The NULGE President made disclosure shortly after promotion letters for LG workers in the State were handed over to him by the Chairman, Local Government Service Commission, Alhaji Adams Adabenege.
He described Gov. Ododo as God sent, praised him for changing positively the once upon a time negative challenges faced by LG workers.
The Chairman of the Commission who was represented by the Director Administration and Finance said the administration of Gov Ododo has made Local Government arm of Administration a top priority, assured of the release of the 2023 promotion letters.
“Let me add that we are under charge to deliver the promotion letters of 2023 to LG workers by next week by Gov Ododo. We are not resting in the Commission until we achieve all the positive plans and vision of Gov Ododo for LG staffers”.
Speaking further, Comr. Sanusi described the release of the 2022 promotion letter for LG workers as another milestone accomplishments by the administration of Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo, said NULGE in the State have never had it so good like it is presently experiencing.
The President explained that all the turn around NULGE in the State has witnessed in terms of policy implementation under the administration of Gov Ododo, could not have been made possible without the efforts of the hardworking Commission Chairman.
Comr. Sanusi expressed appreciation to the Chairman, described the Chairman as a workerholic, said he has consistently dedicated significant efforts and time to achieving the goals and objectives of Gov Ododo for LG workers.
He further praised the Chairman for demonstrating dedication, diligence, and a strong work ethics, said it has also robbed off on productivity level in the various Council areas
The NULGE President also praised the State Local Government Service Commissioners and their administrative staff, said posterity will remember them for good, working with Gov. Ododo to put smiles on the faces of LG workers in the State.
