The Kogi State governor, Captain Idris Wada, says Kogi is not a terrorist state as there is no terrorist in it.
The governor made the declaration when he received organisers and participants of the fifth edition of the Finest Girls on Earth Beauty Pageant in Lokoja. Beauty queens from the 36 states of the federation were in the state for the fifth edition of the Finest Girls on Earth Beauty Pageant.
Represented by his deputy, Arc Yomi Awoniyi, Wada therefore called on those seeking to invest in the state to take the advantage of the enabling environment created and the incentives provided by the present administration to do business.
He assured residents in the state that government was not relenting its efforts aimed at making the state safe from criminals and their activities that led to the discoveries of criminal hideouts and and their subsequent arrest.
According to him, it was the advantage that informed the present administration’s determination to complete the 100 rooms annex of the Confluence Beach Hotel among other tourist sites.
