If man realises the amount of grace that leads to the uncountable blessings he gets from God, no amount of money or material possession he cannot give as a show of his appreciation to the Almighty.
This was the view of the majority leader of Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon (Prince) Matthew Kolawole in a reaction to the cash donation he made during Sunday Service at the Christ Apostolic Church, Olle-Bunu, Kabba Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The majority leader,  who described his one hundred thousand naira cash donation as a “token”, said it was only meant to show that God,  in His infinite mercy has been kind to him and also to appreciate the men working in God’s vineyard.
He said in all his activities, he sees the manifestation of God’s love, adding that the only thing man can do is to show appreciation, while admitting that God deserves more.
He opined; “Let me tell you the truth,  no amount I give God or give to improve His works through the Church is too much. I see and feel God’s miraculous working in my life at all times. He is the author and finisher of my faith and after praises and worship, the other thing I can do is to give my widow’s might for His sake.”
He thanked the people of his constituency for their continuous love and prayers and urged them to sustain the tempo.
Hon Kolawole, who reiterated his commitment towards providing succour to the less privileged in his constituency, assured them that he would continue to strive for the betterment of the area.
“I know I owe the people of my constituency a lot because they have given me a lot as well. For me, without doubt, Kabba Bunu state constituency is the best (smiles). You can see that our people are so loving and accommodating. They are also hospitable and that is why we are progressing.”
He therefore urged the people to continue in their peaceful and accommodating disposition and shun all acts capable of causing disunity among them as that is the only way development can be achieved.
