House of Assembly aspirant, Ishaq Asuku Iliyas has declared that there is no alternative to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State.
Asuku made this declaration at the APC mega rally in Ihima.
He stated that APC has come to stay in the state and the people of the state has keyed into the new direction policy of the Governor Yahaya Bello-led administration.
The aspirant for Adavi state constituency assembly seat said the APC-led state government is working hard to turn around the fortunes of the state and correcting the wrongs of past administrations.
He said Governor Bello is doing his best to see that Kogi is placed on the map of states that are committed to excellence in Nigeria.
“As the confluence state where the colonial era rose from, Kogi is historical and significant to our nation Nigeria. The history of this country cannot be complete without Kogi state.
“The present government came on board by God’s divine providence and no human knowledge or capability can change God’s divine mandate. Kogi has witnessed giant developmental strides since the inception of the new direction administration especially in the areas of security, agriculture, roads rehabilitation across the three senatorial districts, availability of portable water and job creation.
“Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello is our own and we must work and rally around him to see that his re-election comes to fruition come 2019.
“The people of Kogi state have no choice than to support the re-election of Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello,” he said.
Asuku expressed his readiness to partner with Governor Bello to see that Adavians enjoy the dividends of democracy. He called on the people of Adavi to support the new direction government wholeheartedly, no matter whose ox is gored.
