Recently, there has been a call for the removal of the Workaholic Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan SAN.
My Chairman, continue with your works as those who are calling for the sack of the workaholic and energetic Chairman, a renowned legal luminary who was Appointed based on merit. When I read the online news from some mischief Makers calling for his sack, I laughed over the matter because we don’t need to deceive ourselves, this country called Nigeria belongs to every Nigerian irrespective of the Geopolitical zone you are from.
The main reason why while these value destroyers are calling for his sack is just because their preferred candidate did not emerge as the INEC chairman, Okun Yoruba speaking people of kogi State North Central Nigeria must equally enjoy what other people from North East and North West have enjoyed.
Those who are calling for his sack are people who want Nigeria to remain in the dark age. For how and foremost what do they want to count against the Erudite scholar nothing, More well, we must have this kind of value destroyers in our society.
As long as the Lord liveth Prof Joash ojo Amupitan will conduct the most widely accepted Election in Nigeria. The Anambra Gubernatorial Election conducted last year was adjudged the best Election in recent time, So those who stayed behind the scenes calling for his sack are the Rabble-rousers Nigerian who love to be causing disaffection all the time.
The appointment of Prof Joash Amupitan was purely on merit if some people who tagged themselves as Tin gods in northern Nigeria should be calling for the sack of this man I would rather regard such a call as an empty threat which will not be taken seriously.
I am Happy since those behind the movies have been addressing press conferences nobody listened to them, The president did not take them serious, We in Okun extraction knows what to do better and that is why we have been silent on this issue of the INEC chairman. We in Okun know how to mobilise our people on peaceful protest In Abuja but we are not busy body set of people that is why we have been ingnoring their mischievous act, But now it’s going to be operation fire for fire, People behind this unpalatable things should not take our silent in Okun land as people who can hardly differentiate between left and right. We know what to do but as from now onwards we are are not going to take it easy for those who have nothing to do calling for the sack of one of our best Brain, Okun people have been silent for a long time but as from now if those mischief Makers say they are ready we are equally ready for Them as well, Prof Joash ojo Amupitan should not be distracted they should allow the man to concentrate on how he will organise Election in which a losers will congratulate the winners. He promised Nigerian when he was reading his acceptance letter to Nigerian at the floor of the senete,I will be ready to stage a one man protest in Abuja if all these busybody people should continue with their unpleasant Acts.
