She undergo an external trading with different nations of the world in the early 18th century. Countries came to Nigeria for trading and to get raw materials and natural resources for manufacturing. The advent of development which create modernisation and the production of sophisticated equipment in the world makes Nigeria as a nation to be seen as one of the most corrupt nation on Earth.
Most youth in this nation makes of the electronic media and devices to engage themselves in Internet fraud. Such as Yahoo, malpractices, fraud communications, using apps to borrow money without the intention of paying back. This practices has exposed the nations’ habits in the world globally. And this also courses Nigerians not to be trusted if found or recognised in a developed nation.
In political aspect, it has been recorded that Nigeria has the highest rate of unfair practices of political matters in the World. And this act makes others nations to see Nigeria as one of the country one cannot find justice, integrity, fairness, and freedom of expression. A self centered mindset has become a cankerworm that had eaten most Nigerians’ leaders.
This event courses the means of transportation to be difficult for most Nigerians merchants. Tribalism and religionalism practices is another factor she is also default about. Due to the distinction of values, beliefs and ideas that tribe and religion had in her now created chaos among the people living in it. This attitude also has effect on Nigerians, nationally and internationally. It baffled most developed nations of the world how dynamic Nigeria is as a nation.
Nigerian have been known with the attitudes of unfulfilment of promises, disobedience and the violation of rules and regulations. All this unfair characters back up with the act of inhumanity to man being practice by our leaders has create a lot of negative effect on the image of Nigeria as a nation. And this also has successfully prevents her from achieving its benefits from other nations. But rather, makes most Nigerians resources not to be valued but depreciating rapidly.
