Nigeria is the largest country in Africa by population; it is on the Gulf of Guinea with many natural landmarks and wildlife reserves. Protected areas such as Cross River National Park and Yankari National Park have waterfalls, dense rainforest, savanna and rare primate habitats. One of the most recognizable sites is Zuma Rock, a 725m-tall monolith outside the capital of Abuja, the national currency is Naira.

Series of occurrence in the past few months have further reinforced that the drive of an average Nigerian to succeed is unmatched. Various Nigerians are always doing excellently in various areas even though this is not adequately talked about.

Nigerians drive to succeed I believe is second to none, they constantly find a way to excel despite many unfavorable conditions in the country that should have normally limited a human being but not a Nigerian.

Starting from an amazing and beautiful young lady; Hilda Baci winning the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon with a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes, a feat she attempted to “put Nigerian cuisine on the map” and “to inspire young African women to chase their dreams.”

We also have the Nigeria women’s world Cup team which is by far Africa’s most successful team in history, having qualified for every edition of the women’s world cup till date

Very recently a Nigerian comedian Chibuike Josh Alfred popularly known as Josh2funny recently wowed the audience when he was invited to the America’s got talent show where he made a lot of people laugh and increased the views on all social media platforms for the talent show. What he showed in the comedy describes a typical Nigerian spirit who wouldn’t give up till they succeed.

Other examples of this successes include the 109 Nigerian student who were given the 2023 outstanding Cambridge learner award, A 24 Years old Nigerian student Law student who won the prestigious Princess Diana Award and so many more that we see unfold daily, monthly and yearly.
