The G37 Coalition Support Group for Tinubu 2027, Kogi State Chapter, under the leadership of Hon. Daniel Yusuf, has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating the nation’s 65th Independence Anniversary.
In a goodwill message, Hon. Yusuf lauded the courage, resilience, and unity of Nigerians who have weathered decades of economic and political challenges yet remain committed to building a stronger nation.
He further praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his bold and visionary leadership since assuming office in May 2023, describing his policies as “necessary foundations for Nigeria’s economic renewal and national growth.”
Among the notable achievements of the Tinubu administration highlighted by the G37 Kogi State Chapter are:
Economic & Fiscal Reforms: Removal of petroleum subsidy, increased revenue allocations to states, and a comprehensive tax reform framework set to broaden the country’s non-oil revenue base.
Infrastructure Development: Ongoing construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway across nine states, the dualization of major expressways including the Sokoto–Lagos road, as well as strategic rural road projects nationwide.
Education & Youth Empowerment: The creation of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which has already supported more than 500,000 students in accessing higher education.
Transportation & Energy: Deployment of CNG buses to ease transport costs and reduce emissions, alongside notable improvements in electricity generation and transmission.
Healthcare & Social Protection: Expansion of primary healthcare access and new initiatives aimed at lowering the cost of essential medicines for Nigerian families.
Hon. Yusuf stressed that these reforms, though tough in the short term, are reshaping Nigeria’s future and have already attracted global recognition. International figures such as Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Prof. Charles Soludo, and Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi have publicly acknowledged the forward-looking nature of Tinubu’s policies.
The G37 Kogi State Chapter reaffirmed its commitment to President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, describing it as a transformative blueprint that must be sustained beyond 2027.
“At 65, Nigeria stands at a historic crossroads. President Tinubu has demonstrated uncommon courage and capacity in steering the nation towards stability and growth. We, in the G37 Kogi State Chapter, proudly endorse him for a second term in 2027, so that the gains already achieved can be consolidated for the benefit of all Nigerians,” Hon. Yusuf declared.
The group urged Nigerians to remain united, patient, and supportive of ongoing reforms, assuring that the dividends of the Renewed Hope Initiative will continue to manifest across all sectors.
