Hon. Yakub Yakub, the Galadima 1 of Ankpa kingdom, has called on his people and all Kogites to remain peaceful and united to the cause of developing the state irrespective of ethnic or party differences in the New Year.
The young Prince, in his new year message, felicitated with all the entire people of Kogi state, most especially the people of Ankpa kingdom, expressing gratitude to God for the grace and protection to witness the year 2019.
“Praying for the unity and peace in the state is a task we must all put into consideration. We can only have a sustainable developmental state if only we are peaceful and united.
“I am very optimistic that if we capture the support of our youths, leaders, the legislature, the judiciary, the civil service, government appointees, agencies of government, both at the federal and the state levels, then the peace and unity we seek will be lying at our abode. I wish you all the best and a prosperous Happy New Year,” he said..
