The Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has called on citizens to remain steadfast in their commitment to unity, peace and the collective prosperity of Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.
In his new year message on Thursday, Prof. Usman warmly felicitated with the Polytechnic community, the good people of Kogi State and Nigerians at large as they welcome the New Year: 2026.
He extended felicitation to the Governor of Kogi State and visitor to the Polytechnic, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and the entire administration for the achievements recorded in 2025, as well as for the renewed hope and positive expectations that the New Year holds for the state.
He noted that “the year 2025 presented significant challenges and defining moments for us all, and we are deeply grateful to Almighty God for His guidance, protection and the many successes recorded across the board”.
“May Almighty God grant us the wisdom, strength and resources required to make 2026 a year of outstanding achievements, progress and fulfilment.”
He wished everyone a healthy, prosperous and impactful New Year.
