Senator Smart Adeyemi of Kogi West Senatorial district has promised the people of the zone and the state at large a robust, efficient, and transparent representative that will entrenched good governance in the coming year.
Adeyemi in his New Year wishes/message on Tuesday urged his constituents to keep their hope alive to experience a better legislation in line with national strategies; different from the bad toga the zones has been labeled with in the past couples of years.
The third term senators message released by his media handler, Aledare Bolu read a part:-
“This is 2020, a brand new year. New Year is a time for stock taking, a time to reflects and count our blessings. It’s also a period to remembered those who are less fortunate than ourselves and who have fallen on hard times.
“To my people of Kogi West and by extension Kogite, I beseech you to look forward. Forward to a time we’ll hold our destiny in our own hands. To look forward on how to dominate the economy of the country. To look forward to a robust social security and infrastructural development of our areas.
“Be rest assured that the narrative will change this year. The past experiences with other politicians may have dampened your spirit, but things have changed.

“2020 is not just a new year, but beginning of a new decades. Keep your mind open for a better year. You won’t regret voting for me.
“Old abusive legislative era that produce motion without movement have passed, everything has become new towards a robust, well cultured, effective and efficient legislation.
“The wool is already removed from our eyes. We are free from those who thought they could wrapped us under their arms and spoon feed us with lies and gibberish forever. We have escaped their snares.
“I thank thousands of my supporters for keeping faith with me throughout 2019, and assured them of my continued investment in good legislative activities that will offered them robust representation.
“My earnest prayer is not only for us to see the new year, but one free of any unrest. Happy new moon my good people of Kogi West. Welcome to 2020.”
