The leading aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Kogi State House of Assembly, Ijumu state constituency seat, Hon. Obanewo Titus Femi fondly called OTF, has extended warm New Year greetings to residents of Kogi State, and Ijumu constituents in particular, expressing optimism that 2026 will usher in good tidings for the people.

In his New Year message, Obanewo described the coming year as one filled with renewed hope, opportunities, and collective responsibility, urging residents to remain united and resilient in the face of challenges.

The APC stalwart noted that the New Year presents us with a fresh opportunity to strengthen our communities, renew our hopes, and work together for a better future. He therefore expressed belief that 2026 will bring good tidings to his people and open new doors of progress across Ijumu and Kogi State.

Obanewo further expressed confidence in the capacity of the Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Kogi State Government led by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to address the country’s security challenges and restore lasting peace. And stressed that with sustained commitment, strategic interventions, and the support of citizens, Kogites will witness improved safety and stability in 2026.

He also called on residents to continue to pray for leaders at all levels, noting that governance thrives when leaders are supported with goodwill, patience, and prayers.

Known for his engagement with youths and women across Ijumu LGA, Obanewo encouraged young people to remain hopeful, industrious, and actively involved in community development, stressing that their energy and ideas are vital to the future of the constituency.

He concluded by wishing residents peace, good health, and prosperity in the New Year, reaffirming his commitment to unity, service, and inclusive development.

“May 2026 bring peace to our land, progress to our communities, and joy to every household,” Obanewo said.
