Kogi State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Engr. Abubakar Ohere has described Governor Yahaya Bello as a leader who recognizes and rewards honesty, hardwork and dedication in service to humanity.
Hon. Ohere stated this in Lokoja on Wednesday in reaction to the appointment of Pharm. Abdulkareem Muhammadjamiu Asuku as Chief pf Staff to the governor.
Before his appointment, Asuku was the Director General of Protocol to the Governor.
Hon. Ohere, who is the leader of government appointees from Kogi Central, eulogized the governor for taking the right decision at the right time.
“I see it as a factor of strength to this government and the people of Kogi State”, he added.
Ohere hailed the impact of immediate past Chief of Staff, Chief Edward Onoja. He wished Onoja success in office as the next Deputy Governor of the state.
He congratulated Asuku on his new appointment, saying “this unique assignment glaringly shows the confidence that Governor Bello has in your ability and capacity to perform, as exemplified by your excellence performance during your time as the Director of Protocol to the Governor”.
