National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Umar Ganduje, has commended and acknowledged the positive contribution of Gov. Yahaya Bello towards the party, especially in the recent elections in which APC emerged victorious.
Ganduje gave the commendations when Bello led the candidate of APC in the November governorship election in Kogi state, Alhaji Usman Ododo to his office in Abuja on Wednesday.
The party Chairman said “I have no doubt in your leadership capacity, both for our party affairs and as the executive governor of the state. I know Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman will do more when he finally takes over from you.
“It is our cause and all hands must be on deck to secure victory for our great party.”.
Governor Bello described Ganduje’s appointment as well-deserved and urged him to use his wealth of experience to promote unity and progress of APC.
He presented Ododo to the National Party Chairman and informed him of the progress that has been made so far by the governorship candidate of the party and some delegated stakeholders of APC who have been working tirelessly alongside with him by making sure the ruling party in the state wins the election with a wide margin.
Bello assured that the APC in Kogi State is up to the task and will win the governorship election under his watch.
