The purported letter written by the Senatorial Candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) Kogi Central, Ms Natasha Akpoti to Women Wing of United Nations is a face saving measure to shield her from accounting for all funds collected from UN and other Non-Governmental Organisation on the false pretense that she has the support of the people and can deliver the Senatorial mandate but haven realised that her electoral failure on Saturday 16th February, 2019 is imminent, she is trying to come up with a defense to aid her escape
Describing herself as the candidate to beat in the forthcoming election is laughable and day dream by the amateur self-dignified, politician.
It amazes us how a Senatorial Candidate with no political structure and has no idea of the number of polling units in Kogi Central pride herself as the candidate to beat let alone be a nightmare to a well functional ruling party in both the State and Local Governments.
On the allegation of continuous vituperation by the Governor, we challenge Natasha and her Campaign Organisation to show evidence of such abuse by the state Governor.
On the contrary, Ms Natasha Akpoti had been making frantic efforts to drag Governor’s name to the mud through publication of false and malicious posts in the media.
It will be recall that in her usual cis-oxymoronic tongue called the Governor a murderer and forth nights later promised a booty to whoever can provide Intel on the same homicide she earlier accused the Chief Security Office of been culpable of.
There are tons of instances where Ms Akpoti is herself guilty of vituperative charges towards a number of individuals.
We have it on good authority that as part of her campaign strategy, Ms Natasha Akpoti usually send agents to destroy her bill boards halfway and in turn snap same to purchase sympathy and blackmail the Governor in the general public. We have repeatedly maintained that, the Governor of Kogi State, his Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, is preoccupied with serious business of good governance and dispensing dividends of democracy, therefore have no time for petty issues as Ms Akpoti has maligned.
The petition also alleged that, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Edward Onoja made some derogatory comments on her facebook wall. We aren’t suprised that Ms Natasha Akpoti and her Campaign Organisation are trying to be economical with the truth or being clever by half by trying to distort information that was already in the public domain.
Ms Natasha Akpoti on her facebook wall insulted the Governor, calling him names why she also alleged that, Edward Onoja was a thief whose criminal file is still pending in court. These were the issues Hon. Edward Onoja responded to on her facebook page.
She had chosen to set her so called issued-base-campaign on blackmail, seeking for cheap and irrelevant sympathy. Since less than 5days to the general election, the feeble Senatorial Candidate of the SDP, whose legs has no boot or any structure on ground to trance the grassroot, has worn out of campaign strategy, hereby resort to blackmailing to ruling party with a formidable grassroot structure.
Our self-acclaimed steel lady hitherto resort to this new ploy of petitioning to UN in a desperate move to save face in what already appeared an imminent defeat at the poll on Saturday. We are not surprise at her new coy, the international con artist had taken so much grant and donations from International and Domestic Organizations and individual. She is trying to leverage her abject failure on her preemptively petition to the Women Wing of United Nation.
