The House of Assembly candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Bassa state constituency, Arc. Amdii Amdii Zagaru escaped death by the whiskers on Saturday when political thugs attacked him at Shintaku around 4:pm.
Speaking with Kogireports after the attack, Zagaru said him and his team were taken unawareness by the armed assailants.
He accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the attacks.
His cars were badly damaged but he was able to escape. He told our reporter that he had since gone into hiding.
