It is with profound sense of gratitude to Almighty God and utmost humility that I accept my nomination and choice as the Peoples Democratic Party Candidate for Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency at the forthcoming House of Representatives Election in February 2015.
I express my warm appreciation to the leadership of our great party, at all levels, party Members and distinguished Delegates, for the confidence reposed in me, which culminated to my emergence as the flagbearer of our party.
I wish to reiterate my gratitude and solidarity with my fellow aspirants for their rare display of sportsmanship. I believe that my nomination as PDP’s flagbearer, is a victory for all of us, aspirants, party members and true lovers of resourceful, responsive representation and meaningful development in Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency.
I humbly call on all of us, including my fellow aspirants, to team up and bond together as one indivisible family to ensure that our great party win the 2015 General Election, at all levels.
Today’s victory, which is for us all, is a further testimony to the spirit of dialogue, fair play, level playing field and inclusiveness that has been the hallmark of PDP; as the only true democratic party in Nigeria.
While accepting my nomination as the flagbearer of PDP for the House of Representatives election; which is an endorsement and reward for my selfless service to the development of the good people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, I pledge to re-dedicate myself to responsive, responsible and resourceful representation of our dear Constituency.
I pledge to remain committed, passionate and resolute about the political, social economic, human capacity and infrastructural development of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency.
