My People First Foundation, through its Founder, Haj Aishat Oyiza Omade, has approved an additional sum of ₦1 million to support the ongoing construction project for Mama Salametu Shaibu, the elderly woman whose story gained public attention through a viral video.
It will be recalled that the Foundation had earlier released ₦1 million on April 4, 2026, during the Founder’s personal visit to Mama Salametu in Obehira. During the visit, she donated foodstuffs, provisions, including a bag of rice, and also placed Mama on a ₦100,000 monthly stipend to support her welfare.
Following steady progress at the construction site, and in a bid to ensure that work continues without interruption, the Foundation has now approved an additional ₦1 million to sustain and accelerate the building process.

As of today, significant work has been carried out at the site, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to improving the living condition of vulnerable members of society.
My People First Foundation remains dedicated to transparency and will continue to keep the public updated on the progress of this project. We also humbly seek your prayers and continued support as we work towards completing this project and embarking on many more impactful initiatives.
