  • As Kogi NYCN Names Him Patron

The Deputy Leader of the House of Representatives and Member Representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims has declared that the youths are a critical component of all the political successes he has recorded so far.

The Federal Lawmaker disclosed this while receiving a powerful delegation of the Kogi State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) led by its Chairman, Hon. Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale on a working visit to the Deputy Leader for a formal notification of his appointment as a Patron of the council.

Responding, Rep. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims thanked the Youth Council for finding him worthy of the recognition and vowed to uphold the values that has distinguished him stressing that his biggest motivation before joining politics was to make lives easy for the downtrodden through long lasting empowerment and facilitation of legacy projects with last socio-economic impacts.

Earlier, while presenting the letter of nomination, the Chairman, Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale noted that the Deputy House Leader has distinguished himself in both service to God and humanity, thus endearing him to the over three million Kogi youths.

Among others, the Kogi West Zonal Leader of the State’s Youth Council, Comrade Eniola Olayemi and his Kogi East counterpart, Comrade Omale Sebastian Attajo as well as the Financial Secretary, Comrade Aiyekomogbon Florence were on the high powerful delegation.
